Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plan Print
The 2009 Open Enrollment period for your Medicare Part D prescription Drug coverage is currently underway and will continue until December 31, 2008. This open enrollment period, which begins on November 15th of each year, allows any participating member to enroll or convert their current plan to a plan which provides better prescription coverage.

Medicare Part D is a prescription drug Insurance plan offered by the Federal Government enabling all Medicare eligible Americans to have prescription drug coverage. To qualify for this governmental prescription drug plan you must be 65 or older, younger than 65 with certain disabilities, or any person with permanent kidney failure which requires dialysis of kidney transplant.

If you are currently not satisfied with your Medicare Part D drug coverage the ongoing open enrollment period allows you to make coverage changes. A change in drug therapy, high premiums and co-pays, or if your plan does not have GAP coverage are reasons why you may need to change your current Part D plan.

Ah-Choo! Prepare Yourself for Cold Season

The sounds of winter - the wind rustling through the trees, the cheers at football games, and of-course, coughing and sneezing! When the weather turns colder, bothersome cold viruses again run rampant. Chances are you don't think about your medicine cabinet until you have a cold.
